Studio City Macau

Heroic in scale, the Hollywood studio-themed entertainment resort is the first in Asia to integrate fully functional television and movie production facilities, a casino, leisure and retail, and hotels into one facility. The site is situated adjacent to the primary train and bus terminals from mainland China and presents a spectacular entrance to Macau’s Cotai Strip. Literally thousands of visitors daily are dazzled by the dramatic facades, lighting, and architecturally integrated signage.

One of our biggest challenges was to incorporate the building’s identity signage into the world’s first figure-eight ferris wheel spanning the hotels two towers. It didn’t hurt that the numeral 8 is a significant symbol for luck in Asian culture.
